At Curacao

Our last liberty day in Curacao saw our students doing more of the beach activities to include cliff diving as well as the snorkeling. For many of them, it ended up with a long visit at Starbuck’s having ice coffee and taking full advantage o their free WiFi! And the weather was once again Warm, Sunny, and Windy. Pretty typical for this area of the Caribbean this time of year.

Right now our schedule for the morning includes the following:

0400: Set the At Sea Watch in preparation to get underway

0715: Agent comes aboard with any mail they may have received, along with billing estimates

0720: First Call to All Hands Muster

0725: Second Call to All Hands Muster

Line Handlers muster on the hatch square

0730: Pilot scheduled to come aboard and Tugs scheduled to be alongside

0730: Trash off the ship, agent takes off the last mail and gangway up

0800: Underway

Our next port of call: Bermuda

Curacao will probably go into the books as a port that we should schedule for future cruises as most had a great time here!
