Job Title: Marine Operations Manager Date: February, 2002

1. Direct responsibility for scheduling, supervising, and accounting for the maintenance of Academy small craft in support of Academy academic, professional, athletic, summer, and recreational programs.
2. Direct responsibility for the enforcement of Academy rules, regulations, and safety procedures on the Waterfront, and with all Waterfront equipment and small craft. In this capacity is a member of the Safety Committee.
3. Direct responsibility for scheduling and preparing vessels for U.S. Coast Guard, American Bureau of Shipping, and Risk Management surveys.
4. Direct responsibility for implementing a system of accountability for all personnel using Academy small craft.
5. Direct responsibility for ordering/receiving and accountability of all Waterfront and small craft supplies.
6. Direct responsibility for delivery of vessels to the Academy, boatyards, shipyards, or elsewhere.
7. Direct responsibility for scheduling work-study and regular student wage work assignments.
8. Assists in the support of the boat donation program as required.
9. Assists in the preparation of all Waterfront budgets and insurance requirements.
