Employee counsels students and alumni in developing, evaluating and implementing career goals and job placement opportunities. Employee administers the cooperative education program. Employee may provide budget and report preparation. Employee reports to the Academic Dean.
1. Provides career counseling service to students and alumni to assist in establishing academic and career goals and objectives.
2. Provides occupational information and career placement resource data to
students via department resource library and through the Career and Co-op Services web pages.
3. Organizes the annual job fair for on-campus recruiting and provides student
placement service to graduating students with potential employers.
4. Coordinates and administers the cadet shipping program and supervises all
other MMA co-op programs.
5. Manages the Career Services online job bulletin and web page.
6. Develops industry partnerships through company visitation, job fairs, professional trade shows, etc. which may result in scholarships, gifts in kind, and/or curriculum changes.
7. May supervise student and/or regular Academy employees.
