STATEMENT OF THE JOB
Demonstrated experience in maintaining and operating mechanical and electrical machinery of different types. Associate degree, computer and simulator experience or electronics and instrumentation experience desired by not required.
DUTIES OF THE JOB
1. Employee assists engineering department laboratories as scheduled by the department chair. Sets up and breaks down of laboratory equipment as required. However, the faculty member responsible for the lab will develop lab procedures, exercises, and assignments.
2. Time not spent in a lab will be devoted to the maintenance and upkeep of the engineering labs as directed by the engineering department chair.
3. Employee will be required to attend the annual training cruise in support of engineering training as directed by the Senior Engineering Training Officer.
