Employee is responsible for second tier operation, installation and troubleshooting of Academy computer hardware and software and also serves as additional resource for the Help Desk function.
1. Fulfills all portions of PC Support Specialist job requirements as needed.
2. Serves as lead technician for all Campus Service Provider agreements.
3. Provides assistance with network maintenance and troubleshooting (in collaboration with the Network Support Manager).
4. Assist with data center maintenance including (but not limited to) SAN, servers, and various appliances.
5. Responsible for applications system support duties as assigned including (but not limited to) security, unified messaging, email.
6. Provides support for specialized non-standard hardware items such as security hand scanners, network cameras, and other assorted network based devices.
7. Responsible for all aspects of enterprise print management.
8. Assists with packaging and distribution of Academy software packages.
9. Assists with imaging and deployment of operating systems and patch management.
10. May supervise student and/or regular Academy employees.
