JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician II DATE: February, 1990
JOB CODE: 1280
Employee performs skilled work on plumbing systems, electrical systems, oilers and oil burners. Employee maintains fire extinguishers throughout the Academy. Employee should be specialized at the Master level in at least one area outlined above and knowledgeable in the other areas listed. Employee must hold applicable trade and state licenses.
1. Performs plumbing, heating and air conditioning (HVAC), electrical systems, oilers and oil burners, boiler maintenance throughout the Academy.
2. Recommends plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning, oil burner and boiler supplies to a supervisor.
3. Services and repairs all Academy appliances.
4. Coordinates outside contractors and secures permits for the Academy for relevant work.
5. May supervise student and/or regular Academy employees at the journeyman level.
