STATEMENT OF THE JOB
Employee serves as a working supervisor of grounds crew personnel. Employee receives written and verbal work assignments from a supervisor.
DUTIES OF THE JOB
1. Assigns crew members to jobs outlined by supervisor and reports to the supervisor the status of assigned work.
2. Coordinates and may provide transportation of crew and equipment to work site.
3. Operates and may perform maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
4. Responsible for tools and equipment assigned to work crews.
5. May perform all duties of Building and Grounds Maintenance Worker.
6. Performs snow removal duties throughout the Academy.
7. May coordinate material and supplies moved throughout the Academy buildings and grounds.
8. Trains other employees on the use of equipment.
9. May coordinate activities with other trades on projects assigned and may supervise trades on assigned projects.
10. Supervises students and/or regular Academy employees.
