JOB TITLE: Cooperative Education Coordinator DATE: June, 2008

STATEMENT OF THE JOB
Employee works closely with the Director of Career Services and the appropriate faculty coordinator to develop and update student co-op work assignments for relevant academic majors.
DUTIES OF THE JOB
1. Develops appropriate off-campus work sites for co-op students for all academic programs.
2. Establishes effective communication between career services, faculty coordinators, work site supervisors, and campus job recruiters.
3. Develops, coordinates, and maintains approved evaluation procedures for employers, students and the co-op program.
4. Provides co-op and career counseling for all students in coop activities including orientation seminars and materials.
5. Coordinates site and potential work site visits for faculty coordinators and others assisting in the evaluation process.
6. Prepares annual report on status of co-op program.
7. May supervise student and/or regular Academy employees.
