STATEMENT OF THE JOB
Employee is responsible for the management of the assigned companies in the Regiment of Midshipmen, and oversees their administration. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining a company atmosphere which fosters leadership, honor, duty, courtesy and military bearing. Employee provides guidance and supervision to the company midshipmen/officers. Employee may provide budget and report preparation.
DUTIES OF THE JOB
1. Oversees the daily routine of the assigned companies.
2. Administers the company discipline system.
3. Supervises company formations, ceremonies and functions.
4. Implements Regimental inspection policy.
5. Conducts student personal, academic and disciplinary counseling.
6. Coordinates and teaches Personal Development classes and maintains related midshipmen accountability records.
7. Participates in the training cruise as directed.
8. Stands Staff Watch Officer Duty during cruise and Regimental Preparatory Training.
9. Schedules and supervises ship maintenance and maintains related midshipmen accountability records.
10. Prepares assigned midshipmen for cruise and monitors their pre-cruise training.
11. Maintains sensitive and confidential midshipmen performance and discipline files.
12. Administers and Academy Drug Testing program within the assigned companies.
13. May participate in the student recruiting process.
