Job Title: Building & Grounds Maintenance Mechanic & Trades Worker II

Employee performs skilled work in one or more trades areas and semi-skilled work in a variety of other trades areas. Work involves maintenance and repair of equipment, facilities and grounds.
1. Performs skilled installation, maintenance and repair work in one or more of the following trades: boiler operation, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, carpentry and locksmith.
2. Performs routine maintenance and repair work not requiring a license in other trades areas.
3. Performs interior and exterior carpentry work in the remodeling, repair and maintenance of buildings and facilities.
4. Performs painting work.
5. Performs maintenance on grounds and roadways.
6. Services and maintains vehicles and equipment.
7. Operates power tools and hand tools associated with a variety of trades areas.
8. Requisitions materials and supplies.
9. May supervise student and/or regular Academy employees.
