STATEMENT OF THE JOB
Employee is responsible for assisting in the oversight of the athletic facilities and maintenance of athletic equipment under the direction of the Athletic Director.
DUTIES OF THE JOB
1. As directed by the Athletic Director, schedules and coordinates athletic facilities usage by coaches, students, summer conferences and the general public. This includes the swimming center and rifle/pistol range.
2. Recruits, schedules and supervises student employees. Schedules assistant coaches or interns assigned by the Athletic Director to assist in facilities management or equipment maintenance.
3. Prepares the facilities, including locker rooms, for scheduled athletic contests and ensures proper clean-up and take-down as necessary after the events.
4. Responsible for the condition and repair of athletic, recreation and intramural equipment as assigned.
5. Assists coaches in the performance of their tasks as assigned.
