STATEMENT OF THE JOB
Employee assists the Director of Public Affairs with various tasks and assigned duties in the public affairs area.
DUTIES OF THE JOB
1) Responsible for day-to-day media relations including media opportunities, servicing and assessment as well as media contacts and queries records.
2) Responsible for day-to-day management of community relations program to include managing speaker service, community contacts and responding to queries.
3) Plan, monitor and assess internal communication content and channels.
4) Review, monitor and advise on public relations budget/spending needs.
5) Manages coordination, execution and assessment of Crisis Communication Plan.
6) Desktop publishing and basic photo/graphics management.
7) Support faculty and staff with products such as videos, advertisements and promotional materials.
8) Manage visitor reception process and products.
9) Coordinates detailed professional photography services and acts as in-house photographer.
10) May supervise students and/or regular academy employees.
