STATEMENT OF THE JOB
Employee handles reader services duties within the Academy library. Position requires a Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited institution.
DUTIES OF THE JOB
1. Primarily responsible for reader services area within the Academy library; including circulation, interlibrary loan and reserve desk operations.
2. Bills library patrons for lost or non-returned materials.
3. Assists Librarian with circulation policies and procedures.
4. Provides reference service, including information literacy instruction.
5. Responsible for web site design and maintenance.
6. Responsible for public access library equipment.
7. May supervise student and/or regular Academy employees.
8. Performs other duties as required.
