STATEMENT OF THE JOB
Employee is responsible (under the direction of a superior) for athlete training, scheduling and game coaching for varsity sports or other athletic program elements.
DUTIES OF THE JOB
1. Employee coaches and assists with coaching duties of Academy team(s).
2. Assists senior coach with assigned sport related activities.
3. Assists with player recruitment and contacts.
4. Assists with athlete testing and counseling duties.
5. Attends sport clinics and undertakes assigned research for sport development.
6. Assists with the operation and maintenance of video equipment during games.
7. Assists with the issuance and maintenance of player equipment.
8. May also be responsible for activities involving intramural, club-sport, wellness and other departmental programs.
