STATEMENT OF THE JOB
Employee reports to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for the overall operation, scheduling and oversight of the Academy swimming pool, as well as teaching aquatic based labs.
DUTIES OF THE JOB
1. Employee oversees operation and maintenance of the swimming pool.
2. Employee coordinates and schedules use of the pool.
3. Employee is responsible for oversight maintenance of SCUBA gear, Cascade system, Ocean Survival and other associated equipment.
4. Employee is responsible for oversight of water training related safety programs including ship jump and SCUBA club.
5. Employee is responsible for teaching and/or supervising SCUBA, water safety, Ocean Survival and other Academy related aquatic skills classes.
6. Employee performs other coaching, teaching and athletic related duties as
assigned by the Director of Athletics.
