STATEMENT OF THE JOB
Employee performs skilled work on plumbing, heating and air conditioning (HVAC), electrical, boilers and oil burners throughout the Academy. Employee must hold at least two journeyman and/or boiler operators licenses that are required by the Academy and be specialized at the journeyman level in at least one area outlined above, and be knowledgeable in other areas listed.
DUTIES OF THE JOB
1. Performs plumbing, HVAC, electrical, oil burner, and boiler
maintenance and repair throughout the Academy.
2. Recommends purchases of trade supplies to a supervisor.
3. Services and repairs all Academy appliances.
4. Coordinates outside contractors and secures necessary
permits as instructed.
5. May supervise student and/or regular Academy employees.
