JOB TITLE: Admissions Counselor DATE: November, 1995

STATEMENT OF THE JOB
Employee is responsible to the Director of Admissions for the recruiting of students for the Academy's undergraduate programs.
DUTIES OF THE JOB
1. Recruits students for Academy admission.
2. Conducts Academy tours for potential students and parents.
3. Provides admissions counseling to students, parents, and secondary school personnel,
as assigned.
4. Represents the Academy at high schools, community colleges, open houses, and career days as assigned.
5. Develops and submits for the Admissions Director’s approval, an annual recruiting schedule for his/her assigned territory.
6. Evaluates student transcripts and applications as a member of the admissions committee.
7. Qualifies potential students by using telemarketing techniques.
